Import solar modules from China
We assist you in importing solar modules from China in compliance with all import regulations and intellectual property rules.
Order solar modules
There are solar modules with monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar modules. Both can be advantageous, depending on the use for which they are intended. Monocrystalline solar modules have a very high efficiency and are made of silicon. They can be recognized by their dark blue-black surface. Polycrystalline solar modules have a better cost-benefit ratio and are used more frequently than monocrystalline solar modules.
Recycling of solar modules/ Electrical and electronic equipment law
Solar modules are subject to Directive 2012/19/EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (in Germany, the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act). Accordingly, solar modules must be marked with the crossed-out wheeled garbage can and the distributor must display the WEEE number of the manufacturer or the first importer into the EU in all its offers and official documents relating to the trade.
Standards for the import and installation of photovoltaic systems
When constructing a photovoice system, the standards VDE 0100 (low-voltage system installation, see also DIN 60364-7-712) must be observed. Most important is the compliance with the standard 62446:2010 as well as 62446-1:2006, DIN EN 62305 (lightning and overvoltage protection) as well as IEC 61215 (testing of thin film modules), DIN EN 50251 (for the connectors) and DIN EN 50618 for the photovoltaic DC cables. For protection class II, the IEC 61730 standard should be included. The overarching directive for the standards is Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive). The initial importer or manufacturer must certify compliance with the aforementioned standards with a CE mark on the solar modules and also issue a declaration of conformity accordingly.
Import solar modules from China
Almost every day we get inquiries from buyers in Germany who want to import solar modules of well-known Chinese companies from China. We found out that most of the Chinese manufacturers already have distribution channels to Germany, so they do not plan to sell the solar modules to Germany outside the existing distribution channels at all. Even if the well-known brands themselves are located in China, many Chinese dealers offer counterfeit solar modules. From a purely legal point of view, you would therefore not be allowed to import the modules into the EU, as the trademark rights in the EU are held by the original manufacturer or its distributor in the EU.
Over 5000 happy customers.
Everything top. It doesn’t get any better than this. Consulting and implementation can not be done better. We are more than satisfied after several orders with this company and continue the cooperation.
